Welcome to the India Region Page! The India Region for G.O.D. Int’l is currently more than 25 members strong ranging in age from eighteen to fifty. We are currently developing a multi-faceted team which will serve the poor in important fields such as literacy, midwifery, primary healthcare, childrens education, urban architecture and sustainable agriculture. All of our team members are either already professionally qualified to serve in these areas or are pursuing education towards their relevant field of service.

While most of our work is presently state-side, in the summer of 2010, our team was represented by a group of 7 people who began laying ground work for a more permanent presence in the region as well as a group of 25 first timers to India, some of whom since going and being exposed to the great need found there, have decided to join our group as well. 2011 will contain more important ‘first steps’, as we will further our work through partnerships with existing local services in the fields of education, midwifery, and agriculture in the region.
